PT Geo Dipa Energi Receives Recognition from Asian Development Bank for Geothermal Power Plant Project

Jakarta, Indonesia – PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) has received an award for its Geothermal Power Plant Project from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the year 2023. The award was presented at the closing meeting of the ADB Country Portfolio Review Mission (CPRM) in Jakarta on Thursday (28/3).

GDE received recognition in three award categories: Disbursement, Social Safeguards Implementation, and Gender Implementation. This is a testament to GDE’s seriousness in developing renewable energy while maintaining its commitment to social progress and gender equality.

Met after receiving the award, Vice President of Finance & Risk Management, Deri Yuddiandri, expressed his appreciation to ADB for the award. According to him, GDE has now reached its drilling target and will proceed to the next phase. Deri hopes to continue to receive support from ADB for further development, “We hope that the cooperation with ADB that has been established can continue to be improved in the subsequent phases of geothermal development by GDE”.

GDE’s geothermal development project with ADB is an effort to make a positive contribution to sustainable development in Indonesia.
